Nonostante quest'ultimo lavoro dei Ladytron non mi abbia in un primo momento soddisfatto poi molto (ma solo se perché lo paragonavo alle loro precedenti releases) nel suo 'stand alone' si è poi confermato comunque come uno degli album più freschi ed innovativi di quest'anno. Condivido soprattutto queste parole: CITAZIONE (arammigu @ 25/7/2008, 16:50) 'Velocifero' [...] appare anche come una raccolta di potenziali singoli, canzoni che funzionerebbero autonomamente anche estrapolate ad una ad una dalla fitta trama dell'album stesso. Ciò a dimostrazione della genuinità e della grande voglia del gruppo che, mai come in questa release, ha dato segno di voler ricercare nuove ed originali linee melodiche e soluzioni compositive non ancora completamente esplorate fino a questo punto. Soluzioni che, non lo nego, in un primo momento mi avevano lasciato un po' disorientato ma che con i seguenti ascolti hanno saputo pian piano rivelarsi nella loro forma facendo sparire qualunque alone di perplessità che permeava il loro lavoro e al quale avevo dedicato un'attenzione forse un po' troppo superficiale. |
