Escalator - Antologia 1989-2009

Press Release
Thinking about Eastern Europe and EBM, it is probably BORGHESIA and LAIBACH which immediately come to your mind and which also had great
international success. However, despite several performances on national television and a contract with the Hungarian subsidiary of the major label EMI, ESCALATOR never became popular beyond national borders. It was not until the first two brilliant gigs in the BeatClub Dessau and at the ELEKTRISCH FESTIVAL that ESCALATOR could show that they had enough potential to get EBM heads outside of Hungary excited, too. On March 02, 2009, ESCALATOR is to publish a best of album of their 20 years band history at the EBM-family-label Electric Tremor Dessau, which will not only stir the blood of the fans of first-generation EBM.
