Press Release
DISTANCE’s first album „At The Ende Of All Things“ is a co-operation between Avalist (who already produced some albums with Misantrophe) and René who will also release another album of his (ZERITAS) soon. DISTANCE celebrates a hypnotic Electro-Wave without noising beats and lyrical clichés. Not least because of the congenial Vocal-Fusion of both members the songs gain an interesting emotional deepness. Songs like “Back In Place“ or “Riddle In The Grid“ express this in a most spectacular way. The melancholic and dark key tone - pointed out by the well used electronic instrumentation – is a common theme of all 12 Songs of the album. The music of the album unmistakably resembles DE/VISION or Depeche Mode, but keeps an individual style. “At The End Of All Things“ is a refreshing Electro-Wave-Pop album which develops all its qualities slowly but intensive.
