Imagine you walk through an emergency room. Panicked nurses,hectic doctors, you can sense something is going very wrong. Malfunctioning defibrilator, torn cables, broken syringes that is what "Panic Medical Equipment", the opener of "Psycho Vanity" sounds like. A suppressing atmosphere and hammering beats lead throughout the whole track, accompanied by disturbing noises that make you think something is not working as it should be.
In fact, this is just the feeling you get from listening to this track,this very powerful second album from the italian powernoise artist Elfire,better known as MAGNITUDO 8 is everything but malfunctioning.Relentlessly pounding kicks don't take prisoners and the enclosed, threatening vibe of his arrangements lead like a red band throughout all 14 songs, building up a tight, hypnotizing micro cosmos. "Blood Is Sexy", "Corpse Modify" and "Contra Natura" speak a very clear language and are just examples of how this release will shatter the dancefloors and leave stompers sweaty and out of breath.
