After the split of The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation in 2012, founding member Jason Köhnen decided to travel the unchartered territories of darkjazz with his new project 'The Thing With Five Eyes'. Focusing on the mystical and oriental, mostly comparable with the TKDE 'Here Be Dragons' album from 2009, but venturing deeper into the unknown. This debut 4 track release is his first material since the 2012 split and already has been received with great support.
The 12" release (also available on digital format) contains 4 tracks. 'Amhza', 'Sanhkara', 'Meduxae' and 'Khazara'. Darkjazz cinematical tracks which take the listener into worlds unknown.
