Album fresco,di spessore .Dei Nitzer Ebb ho amato sopratutto i primi 2 album,e nonostante questo ultimo lavoro sia in gran parte lontano dai suddetti,devo riconoscere un tocco di "classe" che non guasta.Ho notato in alcuni frangenti, l' 'influenza dei Depeche Mode(!)....e nonostante tutto(tenendo conto che non sono, un loro fanatico tifoso) devo ammettere la riuscita dell'operazione ....un disco da avere.

"Industrial Complex" is NITZER EBB's 6th studio album to date, once again produced by Flood (EDITORS, DEPECHE MODE, ...) and featuring guest vocals by DEPECHE MODE's songwriter Martin L. Gore on the song "Once You Say". The sound is back to the roots, read: oldschool EBM ! The band signed to the Belgian electronic music label Alfa Matrix for Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Italy and Luxemburg (in collaboration with Major Records). This special "Belgian" edition released by Alfa Matrix features a bunch of exclusive remixes not available on any other version of "Industrial Complex". The list of all featured remixers on this album edition will be revealed in the next days - but everybody can already expect many big names from the EBM scene!!!

We were all anxiously waiting for this NITZER EBB reunion album since the band's highly successful come back on stage a couple of years ago, as well as some recent promising appearances on various film and television (Saw IV, Saw VI, NCIS, Fringe...) soundtracks and other video games (Tony Hawk: RIDE). On "Industrial Complex", Douglas McCarthy and Bon Harris go back to their roots and mix NITZER EBB's own sound signature made of pounding bass rhythms, upbeat electro sequences and menacing vocals. Intense, powerful, straight and catchy, this new album presents the band's many new hits including "Promises", "Once You Say", "Payroll" or yet "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang".

On top of that, Alfa Matrix offers a free extra label compilation with each order. Good to know, included on this compilation is a brand new song by the old school ebm act Pouppee Fabrikk amongst many others.

Ottimo forse no Davide, direi comunque un buon disco che ha 3-4 pezzi di caratura superiore. Lo devo riascoltare meglio comunque.
A me "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" e "Hit You Back" piacciono moltissimo, siamo in disaccordo
Douglas voce pazzesca come sempre. Ad ogni modo, il 2010 non poteva cominciare nel modo migliore con gli Ebbs (anche se in realtà l'anno nuovo deve ancora cominciare)

Bé avevo un bel po' di timori, in parte derivanti da alcuni dei pezzi già editi da qualche tempo, in colonne sonore o simili, che non mi avevano particolarmente convinto, ma la "tour edition" già disponibile su amazon (usa) e su itunes (usa) a me piace! Voglio riascoltarmelo bene, ovviamente, ma il primo ascolto mi ha dato buone "vibrazioni".

Questo ICP pare riprendere il discorso rimasto in sospeso dopo EBBHEAD e non sviluppato con BIG HIT (che a me pure non dispiacque, nonostante tutto); personalmente trovo eccezionali "I'm undone", "Goin' Away", "Once you say", "My door is open".
Leggermente sotto, ma per me ugualmente 100% NEP, trovo "Payroll", "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang", "Down on your knees", "I don't know you".

Più sottotono le già note "Promises" e "Never Known", la meno ispirata "Hit you back" e la tranquilla ma non sgradevole "Traveling".

In conclusione: a me sembra un ottimo album. Avrà successo? Non ne ho idea.
Al momento sono solo contento che sia "uscito" e lo comprerò sicuramente a gennaio.

Posso dirvi che ci sono almeno un paio di brani che io passerei.
PEr il resto, è ancora troppo presto per giudicare.
