Press Release
For two years we have been recording, mixing and mastering this new material and we are very happy with the result. Cold Heaven is a much darker and more conceptual album than our debut. We think this collection of songs, and their atmospheric soundscapes represent Cinemascape’s current musical vision perfectly.
One of the more prominent changes sonically is the inclusion av guitar on many of these new songs. We want to thank Henrik Palm for this tone setting ingredient. But those of you who love electronic sounds – do not fear! We have not abandoned synthpop, but instead widened and deepened our music. This time we have also used analogue
and hardware synthesizers to a larger extent, trying to get a more vivid feel to the tracks.
Personally, we regard Cold Heaven as a stronger, more consequent record than the previous one. We hope you will do the same!
