The undisputed patron of unbridled masculinity sets out to celebrate this year’s German Father’s Day in the best possible way: by releasing an exclusive digital only single! “Bratwurstzange” (=barbecue sausage tongs) commemorates masculine party culture with a heavy Electronic-Body-Polka (with the solid support of Eisenkumpel Häusi on testosterone-infused guest vocals and Christian Asbach as the whistling nightingale) that will not only get the male populace off their chairs. It goes without saying that real men do not use tongs for barbecuing sausages, anyhow. But that is pretty much unimportant, as this bulldozer of an earworm is a perfect anthem for alternative Father’s Day celebrations with lots of beer, dead animal on a spit and raw electronic sounds! The capt’n pitches in a b-side in form of “Minderleister”, a collaboration with Christof Kather from the legendary Grindcore band “Japanische Kampfhörspiele.” This is slightly more introverted and quiet fare that is the ideal cure for your next day hangover (and since the German word for hangover is “Kater”, a collaborator by the name of “Kather” does seem rather fitting.) “Bratwurstzange” is hitting all digital portals on May 3rd, 2013 and should be an integral part of any Father’s Day celebration!
