Blutengel’s success story continues! The third single from the sensational charts-storming album “Monument” (#4 in the German Media Control album charts) is the anthemic fan favourite “Kinder dieser Stadt.” This gigantic ode to the freethinkers and night owls of this world offers gripping pomp and a melody that immediately anchors itself firmly in your ear and is shrouded in a sinfully dark atmosphere on a foundation of thudding beats that invite you to dance to the beat of the dark side of the city. The song is a declaration of love to the life that starts to bloom when the sun disappears on the horizon from avowed night person Chris Pohl. The enthusiastic audience reactions on the almost completely sold-out tour in March and April 2013 proved that Blutengel have really hit a nerve with this tune, making “Kinder dieser Stadt” the logical candidate for the next single. With the catchy electronic “She Tries”, the band dishes out a magnificent exclusive b-side song, plus two dance floor compatible remixes to round off a picture perfect single release.
