One of the most exciting futurepop/synthpop newcomers to appear in 2012, Mental Discipline, is back! Their new release, a 6-track EP "Fall 2 Pieces", is out now!
With their debut album "Constellation" featuring collaborations with guest vocalists from bands like Frozen Plasma, !Distain, Culture Kultür, Endanger, Pulcher Femina, Spektralized, and many others, Mental Discipline was propelled to the top of many charts in 2012. This release also found its way onto the top 10 lists of reviewers and DJs around the world.
Featuring "Fall To Pieces", one of the club hits from the debut album, this EP finds the title track rerecorded with the original vocals at the fans' request, along with a special softer version, as well as a new collaboration, this time with the Swedish singer Tess Fries (ex-Dual Density). It also includes remixes of three other tracks from "Constellation" done by US futurepop legend Assemblage 23, German EBM heroes [:SITD:] and talented Ukranian project Ginger Snap5. The remixers were given the opportunity to pick up any track they liked from the album to recreate according to their vision.
"Fall 2 Pieces" is the first of two of EP's planned to be released during 2013, with the next due in December. Look for a new album from Mental Discipline in 2014!
