Cyferdyne - JigsawsVideoPress ReleaseCYFERDYNE’s assured 2nd album “Keep Your Silence” came out earlier this year to voluble critical acclaim – accompanied by one of *the* standout performances of Resistanz 2014.
Surely enough, later in the year this slickly-produced and quietly-accomplished sophomore album entered the Top Ten of the German alternative charts – followed by a large-scale launch party schedule on both sides of the Atlantic.
DWA is now pleased to present the first single to be taken from “Keep Your Silence” – the catchy and commercially-accessible “Jigsaw”.
Remixed already for the bonus section of the CD limited edition of the album by none other than ASSEMBLAGE 23, for this EP version of “Jigsaw” we placed the pieces in the more-than-capable hands of California-based darlings of witch-house AAIMON to work a dark magic over, and DWA’s own angel to some demon to others Jay Ruin of CEDIGEST/RUINIZER infamy.
The resulting “Jigsaws” EP begins to become available digitally from today, via all usual outlets – iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and of course as of *right now* from our very own Bandcamp storefront…where if so inclined you can also pick up a very special physical release version.
Want to play a game? Well, the song IS called “Jigsaw” after all, so…YES, in what may very well be another first for DWA among “industrial” labels if not among “all kinds of labels” we are also releasing this new CYFERDYNE single as a 25-piece jigsaw puzzle…in a limited edition of 25 “pieces”.
