This is a free, legal compilation showcasing of acts I have not prevously heard from—but there are some familiar names such as Dopestars INC, Blank, XP8 and Syrian.
The album opens hard and fast with Alien Vampires’ Crop Circle, this track could easily fit in a harder set alongside the likes of Hocico and Suicide Comamndo, it also has great remix potential. The next track by Blank keeps the tempo up but is a more polished, trancey affair. Then Carmilla totally change the mood with a duel female/male vocal gothic track called Lillith, a very high energy number which could easily appeal to fans of Lacuna Coil or Inkubus Sukkubus as well as industrial electro fans! Cybertron present another up tempo tune, this track seems to be influenced by modern Italian club music blended with darkwave. Dopestars INC bring us an exclusive mix from their forthcoming album, a pounding industrial track with a great beat! If this is a taste of things to come then their album will be something very special. Mental Siege bring a nice change from the four to the floor sound with a breakbeat track that has a dark feel. No Forgiveness bring the pace back up with a raw black metal influened industrial stomper in the vein of Psyclon 9. S.H.A.Y.T.A.N then provide the hardest and fastest track of the CD. Similar to X-Fusion and Unter Null, this track tears along at around 160bpm! Syrian’s Future Storm is a great trancey, synth-pop track that will appeal to fans of VNV Nation and Neuroticfish. T3chn0ph0b1a and XP8 close the compilation with very different styles. After T3chn0ph0b1a’s heavy industrial , XP8’s more relaxed Dreamt of Blue is a good closer.
This is a very good album aimed squarely at the dancefloor and the good range of styles means there's no excuse for anyone in the club to be not dancing!!
