Press Release As suggested by the recent inclusion of the previously-unreleased track “White Light” on this summer’s special DWA compilation given away with Orkus! Magazine, we have for a while now been getting ready to serve you up something very special from Canadian duo DYM: a multiple-release, in fact. A completely new club mix of “NWO” from “The Technocratic Deception”, plus "White Light" plus 2 further brand new and previously unreleased DYM songs make up this digital version of the "NWO EP". But you can go even further into the DYM universe on vinyl: with an ultra-limited 12" version coming on February 10th complete with an extra x2 previously unreleased outtakes from "The Technocratic Deception", making for a 6-track 33rpm record pressed as x50 units of black and x50 units of marbled white vinyl...complete with all kinds of additional goodies.

Press Release Daring Young Musicians, Destroying Your Misconceptions! The second full-length studio-album! After two towering releases on NoiTekk and a slew of outstanding and outlandish remixes for DWA, innovative Canadian electronic duo DYM finally unleash their second full-length “The Technocratic Deception” this December. Illustrated by Arc and mastered by Kolja Trelle (SOMAN) for maximum bass, with “The Technocratic Deception” DYM show themselves to be no robots in disguise following any scene-formula – rather they prove once again that the only agenda they adhere to is their own, making industrial sounds that truly stand out from the crowd. Featuring club-friendly cuts like “Let Your Blood Run Dry”, the hauntingly mournful “Glass Catfish” and brilliantly-deployed guest vocal appearances from IT-CLINGS and CHAISM, “The Technocratic Deception” is deceptively immediate yet richly rewarding on repeated playback…as the listener uncovers layer upon layer of intriguing production, track after track of seemingly infinite variety. Always at the cutting edge of the electro-industrial scene, with “The Technocratic Deception” DYM demonstrate a depth of talent and technique and a diversity of songwriting ability that should deservedly propel them to even-wider international recognition.

Press Release Featured on MTV America throughout the Christmas and New Year period with their track "Little Drummer Boy" used as the music for commercials for the TV series "Skins", we are now proud to present the brand new feature-length EP from Canadian harsh-EBM/dark electronica duo DYM! DYM have played live in their native Canada with leading acts such as COMBICHRIST, AMDUSCIA, and PSYCHE - including 2009's EBM Fest with GRENDEL and DECODED FEEDBACK and Kinetik Festival with GRENDEL, REAPER, SOMAN and AESTHETIC PERFECTION. After a series of excellent remixes in 2009 for CEDIGEST, GRENDEL, ACYLUM, UNTER NULL and C-LEKKTOR, DYM have finally completed the follow-up to 2008's "The Invilid" (NoiTekk/Cop International). Again merging the sequenced sounds of harsh-EBM with lements of breakcore and glitching, DYM draw influences from "old-school" industrial acts like fellow-Canadians SKINNY PUPPY and the rhythm and noise of VENETIAN SNARES to create their own unique brand of dark and quirky electronica. Mastered by Kolja Trelle (SOMAN), "The Swarm" is an extended EP/mini-album of 6 brand new tracks plus a colossal bonus section of no less than 10 remixes - one of each track from "The Invilid", presented in the exact same track order as the original! The remixes come from top electro-industrial scene names like AMDUSCIA, C-LEKKTOR, PREEMPTIVE STRIKE 0.1, ENCEPHALON, FRACTURED and labelmates DIE SEKTOR.
