Press Release Greek electro pop duo Marsheaux (Marianthi and Sophie) has paid a wonderful tribute to one of their favourite albums of all time and one of the most underrated synth pop albums of the 80's. They have covered track by track, the full Depeche Mode's "A Broken Frame", their 1982 album that signaled the start of Martin Gore's lead songwriting dues for their rest of their career. Marsheaux put their gentle female touch to all time classic masterpieces ("Leave In Silence", "My Secret Garden", "See You") as well as such less known gems as "The Sun And The Rainfall", "Monument" and "Shouldn't Have Done That". "A Broken Frame" lands in 2015 with total grace and a haunting atmosphere that refresh its long lasting myth.

Press Release Airy melodies, playful sounds and beats, without fear of crossing the border into sweet catchiness, paired with coolness, energy and a small hint of dark pathos – if there is one band these days that manages to preserve the spirit of the Golden Eighties, it must be the electronic girlie-duo Marsheaux. Fortunately, Sophie and Marianthi do not revert to blindly copying well-tried success formulae from Pop-eras past, but rather use the same tools to cook up a delicate and delicious Electro Pop stew of their own. On their third album, the two girls prove yet again that they have got a formidable talent for writing irresistibly catchy melodies, this time around spiced up with a healthy dose of modern club sensibility. The darker note that haunts a few of the tracks, quite befitting of the album title, provides an interesting counterpoint, as well. On their new album, Marsheaux are as versatile as never before: Minimal Disco anthems like the singles “Summer”, “Ghosts” and “Breakthrough” go hand in hand with picture-prefect Pop tunes and excursions into more beat-oriented territories. “Lumineux Noir” is the perfect fusion of Pop and Club, an irresistible Minimal Disco trip… in short: an album to fall in love with! Preceding the official German album release in late summer, “Lumineux Noir” will be released in July as a digital download album (i-Tunes, Amazon, Napster) and as a strictly limited special edition double CD exclusively available from Out Of Line.
Press Release The biggest charm offensive in electronic Pop music returns! Sophie and Marianthi, better known as Marsheaux, are enchanting the world with the airy grooves of their new digital single “Breakthrough.” Girlie-charms and an irresistible melody flirt with a solid, analogue Disco-foundation in a song that brings the zeitgeist of the golden Eighties back to life. The two ladies are putting so much enthusiasm and positive vibes into their music that it is impossible to not fall for them instantly. And who is to say that electronic music should not be fun, after all? With the unreleased hit tune “How Does It Feel” as a b-side and three dance floor compatible remixes, Marsheaux deliver a perfect kick start into the summer groove. Dream up your own disco with “Breakthrough!” Available at all major download stores (iTunes, Amazon, etc.) from May 29th!
