Mesh are preparing for their second strike: With “Adjust Your Set”, the Bristol Duo aims at dance floors, radios and playlists around the globe. After this years very successful album “Automation Baby”, supported by the breathtaking single release “Born To Lie”, the second single “Adjust Your Set” presents typical Mesh hooks, beats and melancholic moods, just a bit more catchy and enjoyable. Mesh is well-known for world-class Electro-Pop with a dance floor twist, and melodies that go right into your ears – and happen to stay there for a long time. However, Mark Hockings vocals and Richard Silverthorn’s melodies are known to run with deep lyrics and expressions that captivate on a closer look.
The Radio edit was produced by Nico “MABOOSE ”Wieditz (And One), who also completely deconstructed the original for a more danceable club version. The result is sure to fill electronic dance floors in no time. Also Rob Dusts gritty and beat-ridden remix of Adjust Your Set will appeal to the uncompromising Electro-DJ. The package is topped off by one of Mesh’s specialties: The exclusive B-Side “Walk Of Shame” is what makes this CD-Single a sure collector’s item for fans, as Mesh have done it again: The B-Side defies its name in terms of quality. A strong second single!

"A Perfect Solution", the latest album from MESH was surely one of the highlight releases of recent years. The boys from Bristol showcased both their club and alternative influences, creating a masterpiece caught between accessible beauty and bitter melancholy. Up next is "An Alternative Solution", a remix album with several unusual characteristics.
We didnt want to have big bands as remixers, but just friends we know personally, and who we know like our music, and with whom we have a relationship, says Mesh singer Mark Hockings. The status of the remixers was secondary, the important thing was that the mixes were good. A friend will do a better mix for you than someone who is just getting a little cash for it.
The results speak for themselves, then many of the mixes stand up to the original versions, without ripping the original song completely out of its musical context. All eleven tracks from "A Perfect Solution" get the remix treatment here, and the remix album retains the original´s track order as well. In spite of its unconventional approach, Mesh have assembled an illustrious lineup of remixers from friendships built up over the bands 15 year history, including Iris, Portion Control, Zeromancer, Parralox, and Assemblage 23.
"An Alternative Solution" is to be released May 20th. Fans and collectors shall look for the limited first pressing, also containing a bonus CD ...

Mesh have announced the launch of "How Long", the 2nd single of their album "A Perfect Solution". If everything works according to plan, it will be available in shops by the end of March. Along with an exclusive B-side, you will also discover a rare gem, "Hold & Restrain", a track which so far has only been available on the identically named limited 7" single. However, due to high demand, it will now also be released on the CD, in a slightly altered version.

"Only Better" shows the band in a harder, grittier and more mature style compared to their earlier Synthpop releases. After a three year absence, Bristol’s hottest underground export in heartwrenching electronic pop is back. MESH, the duo of Mark Hockings and Rich Silverthorn, return with „A Perfect Solution“, possibly the most mature, mutable and yet toughest album of their career. While no one doubts Mark Hocking’s status as an exceptional vocalist, a complete listen to this album also serves to highlight the band’s songwriting and arrangement skills. Once pegged as a purely retro synth act, MESH have mutated into a true live band, and the resulting versatility in the arrangements transforms what might have merely been 11 good songs into outstanding ones.
Thematically, „A Perfect Solution“ is a bit darker than previous releases. The tone of the album is typefied by „If We Stay Here“, a tale of broken relationships between people who once loved each other but who now just exist in the same space. The massive housing facade pictured on the cover further symbolizes the painful dramas which take place behind its windows. The wires running throughout the artwork are both safety lines and shackles – anything but „A Perfect Solution“.
Were the album musically as dismal and hopeless as it is lyrically, „A Perfect Solution“ might be too much to handle, but luckily MESH know how to strike the delicate balance between „bitter“ and „sweet“.
