Dopo mesi di attese e ritardi vari, finalmente io (Luca Anselmi) ed il socio Alberto Brandi/djNox ci siamo accordati e a brevissimo faremo uscire il bando di partecipazione per la compilation Italian Body Music Vol.4.

Per chi non conoscesse ancora questa nostra iniziativa, Italian Body Music è una serie di compilations digitali distribuite gratuitamente e comprendenti il meglio delle bands italiane (più o meno note) dedite alla musica elettronica "alternativa".

Tra le molte bands, sono già apparsi su i vari volumi di IBM: Syrian, Blank, XP8, Dope Stars Inc, ViolentDiva, Bahntier, Adam, First Black Pope, Nydhog, Splinter vs Stalin, Stendeck, Babylonia, Maurizio Bianchi e moltissimi altri!

Le selezioni per Italian Body Music Vol.3 inizieranno tra un paio di settimane, invitiamo quindi bands e amici vari a restare prestare molta attenzione al sito in questi giorni!

Alberto e Luca stanno anche lavorando a diversi dettagli della prossima release, che promette di essere ancora più matura (speriamo col tempo di diminuire i difetti

) ed interessante.

Visti alcuni problemi con le passate uscite di IBM abbiamo deciso di distribuire le varie IBM compilations sotto Licenza Creative Commons allo scopo di tutelare i "nostri" artisti ed i loro diritti.
Non preoccupatevi: sarete sempre liberi di scaricare, copiare, distribuire e suonare la nostra musica ma semplicemente non la potrete usare per fini commerciali e non potrete alterare o trasformare le tracce, quindi se per esempio siete interessati a fare un remix, mettetevi in contatto con le bands prima!

Per ora è tutto... ma torneremo presto!

PER LE BANDS ITALIANE: il bando verrà postato sul sito verso metà Giugno, attendete quello prima di mettervi in contatto

WHAT IS THE ‘ITALIAN BODY MUSIC’ PROJECT?

The IBM Project is born from the common interest and dedication of Alberto Brandi (Dj Nox/ one of south Italy’s prime-mover EBM/Industrial DJs) and Luca Anselmi (founder and administrator of one of Italy’s major EBM-Industrial-Electro forum/webzines www.electroworld.tk/ ) for the musical macrocosm related to the dark and alternative electronic music.

We both have always liked to relate to this scene we love in an active way. Alberto as a Dj and event-organizer, Luca as restless manager of a very alive forum, than transformed into a webzine, and then into an engine spreading to club-parties and who knows what more holds the future. So, being conscious of how many valid bands exist in Italy, we thought to actively promote these guys through a free compilation.
And here it is ‘Italian Body Music’: the state of art of today’s Italian electronic scene.
Far from being comprehensive, it’s just a start. There are surely many other deserving bands out there ready to be featured on our next initiative, so may this work also as a drone, ready to attract the best Italian EBM-Electro-Industrial stars to Nox and Electroworld’s solar system!
The future can hold very interesting things to come, stay tuned.
This is just the first volume…so you are warned!
